Thinking of donating your hair to The Little Princess Trust?
Before you book that salon appointment, please watch celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton show you the best way to cut your hair for LPT.
Donating your long locks to help children and young people experiencing the devastating effects of hair loss is an incredibly generous thing to do.
By following the advice on this short film, you can help us boost the confidence and self-esteem of young people at what can be a very challenging time in their young lives.
And please don't forget that we need financial donations to help us cover the cost of making, fitting and styling our wigs.
So perhaps you could ask family and friends to sponsor your big haircut and help us turn your gorgeous hair into a beautiful wig.
Step-by-Step Guide
Attention Superhairoes! Below you will find a simple four-step guide to show you the perfect way to help The Little Princess Trust give Hair and Hope to children and young people with cancer.
Step 1
We can only provide wigs to so many children thanks to our amazing supporters. So have you thought about asking family and friends to sponsor your big cut to help towards the cost of making a wig? Get a free fundraising pack and be a true Superhairo!
Step 2
We can accept hair of any natural colour as long as it is in a good condition. But before you cut your hair, make sure you wash and dry it thoroughly. If conditioner needs to be used please ensure it is rinsed out and please do not use styling products.
Step 3
Put your hair into ponytails and secure them with a hair band at regular intervals. Ask your hairdresser to cut above the top band. We ideally need hair measuring 12 inches or more. Place your hair inside a recyclable cardboard or heavyweight paper envelope.
Step 4
Print out your completed Hair Donation Form and put it inside the envelope with your hair. Ensure you have paid for the correct postage and send it to: The Little Princess Trust, The Hannah Tarplee Building, 22-25 Berrington Street, Hereford. HR4 0BJ. UK.

Help us turn your hair into a wig!
As a charity with no specialist paid fundraisers, we rely on the wonderful support from the public to pay for our free wig provision service and that is why every single penny raised really does count. It costs around £700 to provide a wig for a child or young person experiencing hair loss so why not request a free fundraising pack and help us turn your hair into a beautiful wig.
