New way to teach children about the gift of giving

Free Little Princess Trust digital kits are now ready for schools!

New assembly packs and lesson plans have been created to help children learn all about the work of The Little Princess Trust.

We as a charity receive so much support from young people across the country and have designed the digital kits to show children how their selfless acts help us to provide real hair wigs to those with hair loss.

The packs, which also tell children how The Little Princess Trust works with cancer researchers, are freely available thanks to our partnership with 1decision.

The lesson plan features videos explaining The Little Princess Trust's work.

What you can find in the assembly pack and lesson plans.

• Digital on-screen assembly presentation.

• Digital on-screen lesson.

• Background guides for both the lesson and assembly with step-by-step instructions for each slide.

• Templated letters for parents and carers to explain the content of the assembly and lessons.

• Advice from childhood cancer specialists CCLG written in a language suitable for children.

• Useful links to enhance lessons with additional resources.

What are the benefits of schools using this pack?

• To reduce children’s anxiety around the word ‘cancer’.

• Increase children’s understanding of how charities work.

• Provide further information about the research into reducing childhood cancers.

The interactive presentations pose questions to teach children about the work of charities.

Using the free packs is quick and easy. Simply click here to see what is available.
